Artist Statement
My work examines agency and impact on artistic creation through the lens of humans and environments in the age of artificial intelligence. Specifically, I look to emphasize humanizing factors and art’s impact as humanizing agents through artist’s intent, creation process, spectator’s evaluation, and the interrelationships among them. The spectators are welcomed to start the journey where they desire, whether is the source, the output or the process of making, all will lead them to experiencing the power of empirical senses and past memory. I am passionate about expressing text, language, and sound as a representation of time sequence and empirical experiences. My work embodies characteristics of these experiences that trigger humans’ sensory and auditory memory.
